Resume or recover an agent session
Resume a supported provider session or choose how to recover after a quick resume failure.

MAO keeps provider session identity separate from the local terminal process. Supported providers can resume a recorded session when you reopen or restart its agent node.
Recover a session
- Reuse the existing agent node to resume its recorded session.
- If resume fails shortly after launch, choose Start fresh, Resume by ID, or Pick a session when the provider offers a picker.
- Copy the session ID from the node menu or agent sheet if you need to keep it.
LimitClaude Code, Grok, and Codex have session ID capture paths. OpenCode and Antigravity do not yet. Provider transcripts and authentication stay outside workspace JSON.
