Add or adopt a project
Add a Git repository as a canvas, or bring an existing MAO project into a workspace.
Updated 1 min read
Adding a project creates a canvas for an existing Git repository. If MAO already has state for that repository, it uses that state in place.
Add a project
- Choose Add project… from the navigator or the canvas chrome.
- Select the repository folder. It must already exist and contain a .git directory.
- Choose the workspace or folder where the canvas should appear, then add the project.
- To place a project from the legacy project list into the hierarchy, drag its row onto a workspace or folder.
TipIf MAO has already used this repository, its notes and canvas state remain in place when you add it to the navigator.
LimitA repository already listed cannot be added again. A trial is limited to one project.
