Set sound cues and reduced motion

Adjust synthesized interaction sounds, their volume, and reduced-motion behavior.

MAO synthesizes short interaction sounds and lets you adjust their volume. Reduced motion is available in the same settings area.

Adjust sound and motion

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Adjust Sound and its volume.
  3. Turn on Reduced motion if you prefer fewer animated transitions.
NoteBridge-originated interaction sounds play at half volume.
LimitThese settings do not control audio from a program running in a terminal.
