# Switch and find workspace content

Move between workspaces and canvases, or search for workspace content.

Use the navigator to switch between workspaces and canvases. Its search button opens the shared command palette with Workspaces already selected.

## Navigate to a canvas

1. Open the navigator with its handle on the left edge of the canvas.
2. Expand a workspace or folder row to show its canvases.
3. Choose a canvas row to open it.
4. To search, select the navigator’s search control, enter a name, and choose a workspace result.

> **Tip:** The shared palette can search across more than workspaces. Clear the **Workspaces** scope to broaden the search.

> **Limit:** Navigator search is not full-text search of workspace files or notes. Numbered terminal jumps follow creation order, not assigned slots.
