# Opt in to diagnostics

Enable limited product diagnostics and copy a local report when needed.

Diagnostics are optional and off by default. The diagnostics view also lets you copy a local report for inspection.

## Enable diagnostics

1. Open **Settings** and choose **Diagnostics**.
2. Review the information shown there.
3. Turn on **Diagnostics** if you want to opt in.
4. Choose **Copy diagnostics** from the canvas overflow menu to copy a report.

> **Limit:** Diagnostic reports exclude prompts, terminal output, and note contents. MAO does not record session replay.
