# Discover connected peers

List the peers and context nodes available to an agent through the local bridge.

The MAO bridge lists peers and context an agent can reach through its connections. Use the displayed names when you send tasks or read notes.

## List available peers

1. Open a connected agent’s terminal.
2. Run `mao list`. You can also use `mao peers`.
3. Use a listed peer name in a task command, or use a listed note ID with `mao note` commands.

> **Limit:** Cross-canvas peers are listed only when authorized within the same workspace. Screen inspection and raw terminal typing are limited to the local canvas.
