# Minimap

Use the overview map to move quickly across a large canvas.

The minimap shows node frames and connections alongside the part of the canvas currently in view. Use it to move the main canvas without losing your place.

## Navigate with the minimap

1. Find **Overview** in the lower-right corner of the canvas.
2. Click a place on the map to center the canvas there.
3. Drag the viewport rectangle to pan continuously across the canvas.

> **Limit:** The minimap is an overlay and is not saved. It shows node frames rather than detailed node content.
