# Delete or prompt a selection

Delete selected nodes or send one prompt to several agents at once.

The selection action bar and command palette can act on multiple selected nodes. You can also delete a single selected node.

## Act on selected nodes

1. Select the nodes you want to change.
2. Choose **Delete N selected nodes** to remove the selection, or choose **Send prompt to N agents** to compose a prompt for the selected agents.
3. If the prompt misses an agent, review the result and choose **Retry missed agents only** to try those recipients again.
4. For a single selected node, choose **Delete** from its node bar or menu.

> **Limit:** MAO asks for confirmation before deleting live agents. If any selected node is locked, the whole bulk delete is refused. A prompt reports agents that did not receive it.
