# Apply a saved arrangement

Place a saved group of nodes and connections onto the current canvas.

Applying an arrangement stamps its saved nodes and internal connections onto the current canvas. Agent nodes arrive as drafts so you can decide when to start them.

## Place an arrangement

1. Open the arrangement library and find the layout you want.
2. Drag its card onto the canvas, double-click the card, or select it and press <kbd>Enter</kbd>.
3. Position the arrangement where you want it.
4. Review the new nodes and connections; start any agent nodes when you are ready.

> **Note:** You can also apply an arrangement from the multi-selection bar or command palette.

> **Limit:** Provider sessions and other private provider state are not copied. Agent nodes are drafts until you start them.
